A couple of weeks ago, I went to Washington DC with my mother-in-law and sister-in-laws to visit Jon's younger sister, who is going to school there. We had so much fun and a lot of laughs. I hadn't been to DC since I was about 12. Seeing all the monuments and being reminded of our country's history really does make you feel so grateful and proud to be an American!
This quote was on a monument depicting the Great Depression. I loved it so much. It says, "The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."
And, I just have to say that I sure missed this little boy! But, he was definitely well taken care of by Dad, Gram, and Grandpa. Thanks for a great trip ladies!

I am happy that you found my blog and thank you so much for leaving a comment. Your little boy is ADORABLE!!!! It is always nice to know you are not alone. It is not an easy journy but one that is worth it. I wish you the very best as you begin another adoption journy!!!
